Who We Serve
While Datacentrix is not a direct service provider, our work centers on improving the systems that serve people who receive much-needed assistance from government, private foundations, nonprofits, and philanthropists. We work with organizations that directly serve people and communities in most need of help.
The work began nearly a decade ago with Navigating the Maze, a roadmap for reducing gaps in mental health services for children, teens, and adolescents. Our next assignment gave us a crash course in issues surrounding unintended pregnancies, particularly among teens. And we’ve been engaged multiple times to seek solutions to the systemic problems facing families of children with special needs.
What’s next? We’d love to be involved in projects related to people experiencing homelessness, military veterans, the LGBTQ+ community, people of color, and immigrants. We know these populations are particularly vulnerable now as we witness the dismantling of federal programs and the trickle-down effect it’s having on local initiatives. Working together, creatively and boldly, we can employ the power of datacentric storytelling to improve people’s lives during these tumultuous times.
